About Our Farm
Eight Bare Feet is named for our four children's bare feet that are often running around our 20 acre property. Our farm is located in southwest Michigan near lake Michigan and contains a variety of funny chickens, funny children, spoiled dogs and cats, sometimes bees, berry and vegetable gardens, and even a couples cottage getaway aptly named "The Love Shack".
We've hosted people from all over the country at our little paradise and are always amazed at how fascinated they are with farm and country living. We enjoy sharing aspects of this life with others and are excited about adding a natural skincare line to what we already offer here.
Giving Back
Egg prices are big in the news right now. So for every sale, we will be donating a dozen eggs to a local non-profit that serves struggling families. It so happens that our chickens are laying like crazy, and we have plenty to share!
In the summer months, we will also donate berries, vegetables and other produce as our gardens ramp up for the year. In the fall, we donate pumpkins and squash. Stay tuned for the donation of what's in season for every sale!
